Due to inclement weather on Thursday, Dec. 8 MCS had to postpone their Family Night and evening performance. The Family Night has been scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2022, which was supposed to be the monthly board meeting. There will be no monthly MCS Board of Directors meeting for December 2022, it will be scheduled for the early part of January 2023.

MCS Board of Directors Vacancy Vacante Junta Directiva de MCS
The MCS Board will be filling a recently vacated director position. Per MCS bylaws, director positions that become vacated outside of the normal re-election cycle are filled by appointment. The MCS Board invites any interested candidates to fill out an application and submit it via email to either board chair (Thad McCracken or Dan Watson) at mccrackent@nwasco.k12.or.us or watsond@nwasco.k12.or.us by 5pm on November 14th.
The board will consider applications in its Nov 15 regular meeting, and ideally fill the spot by board vote in that meeting. Ideally, candidates can plan to attend the meeting (via Zoom) at 5:30pm on Nov 15th.
This appointed position will take effect immediately upon board vote, and will expire in June of 2024, at which point it will be filled via election.
