    If a decision is made to delay and/or close school, the announcement will be made no later than 5:00 AM in the morning. 

    Information will be sent to local radio stations to announce, Portland TV stations, posted on social media and emails sent out no later than 4:45 AM.

    Delay and/or closure information will be posted on the North Wasco County District's main website page and on the Weather Information Page.

      When possible (and appropriate), the decision to delay and/or close school may be made the previous evening no later than 7:00 PM.  

     When there is a 2 hour delay

    Mosier Community School will start at 9:30 AM.

    Breakfast will NOT be available in the kitchen.

    Bus Transportation will be adjusted to the delayed start time exactly 2 hours later than their regular pick up time.

     As per MCS and District policy, an excused absence will be accepted if a parent chooses to keep their student(s) at home.
